I confess that my blog is a method of promoting my nutritional supplement business. I'm seeking guidance from many sources on the Internet. Earlier today, I found the following article from Work From Home Review, written 1/08/09 by Robert Corum. Unbeknown to me, I was doing some of the appropriate things. You, the reader, may not find this interesting but I publish it in hopes the article, and the web site, will be beneficial. Truthfully, I will need to revisit the site and "digest" more of his information.
Bum marketing is a strategy that just about anyone can use to promote their products to every corner of the Internet. It is a proven marketing technique that takes almost no effort on your part, just a little time and creativity.
If you’re already an experienced writer, you will have no problem getting this marketing strategy up and running to your advantage. Even inexperienced entrepreneurs who just enjoy writing in their spare time will find success with bum marketing. However, if you have a tendency to cringe at the thought of organizing your ideas into introduction, body, and conclusion paragraphs, this is something you may want to skip over.
Unlike most other writing formats, the key to bum marketing is quantity, not quality. You need to quickly choose an affiliate product to write about and promote, and then generate a wealth of articles, regardless of how innovative or original they may be. Just be sure to place a link to your affiliate product’s website in your Bio Box so that your readers can easily navigate to your affiliate’s webpage.
The concept of bum marketing involves a lot, and I mean A LOT, of writing. Your goal is to create as many articles about your affiliate product as you can and then spread them out across the Internet so that your writing reaches as many viewers as possible. The more people you reach, the more likely all of those people are to click on your affiliate link and increase your commission income.
There are so many ways to produce an article, although many writers fall back on the basic introduction, body, and conclusion paragraphs format. Here are some ways to make your articles a bit more interesting without having to exhaust all of your effort:
• Write a FAQ.
This simple format requires you to choose the top three to five most commonly asked questions from consumers about your particular affiliate product. State these questions and provide thorough answers, and you will have an effective and easy-to-read article ready for publication.
• Write a How-To.
Because you are marketing a product for your affiliate, you will want to use your how-to article to tease your readers into finding out more from your affiliate’s website. You may want to walk your readers step by step through a particular situation, and then tell them to visit the affiliate website to learn the final steps.
• Give a Few Tips.
This type of article offers your readers tips, tricks, and secrets to doing something better. For example, you may write an article called, “Six Tricks to Healthier Skin,” or “The Secrets of Work-from-Home Success.” Whatever tips you choose to provide, they should directly relate to your affiliate product, and you should convince your reader to find out even more insider information by visiting their website.
• Review Your Affiliate Product.
You can write this article in the same style and format as a book or movie review. Provide your reader with your own personal experience in regards to your affiliate’s product, and let them know just how much success you had with it.
• Write a Classified Ad.
This format does not really resemble an article at all. However, it is still very effective. All you have to do is write up a few short and descriptive sentences about your affiliate product that will compel your readers to visit its website.
Think of how many articles you could come up with in just one hour using all of these formats! Bum marketing is the key to easily getting the word out about your affiliate product so that you can profit from a rewarding commission.
