We have all witnessed quite a show since Barack Obama became president. Because the country was facing "crisis" after "crisis," Obama and his team were more than happy to inject government into the private operations of banks, the auto industry, and energy sector.

But, of course, that's not enough. Now with the latest cybersecurity bill making its way through Congress, Obama not only will have control over General Motors but could also have control over the Internet. With the power to "shut down online traffic by seizing private networks," Obama would take one more piece of freedom and add it to his growing list of industries and activities which fall under government "supervision."

As noted in the report on FOXNews.com, "A Senate bill would offer President Obama emergency control of the Internet and may give him a 'kill switch' to shut down online traffic by seizing private networks -- a move cybersecurity experts worry will choke off industry and civil liberties."

New details of the Cybersecurity Act of 2009 were released on Thursday "months after an initial version authored by Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.V., was blasted in Silicon Valley as dangerous government intrusion."

Larry Clinton, president of the Internet Security Alliance, told FOXNews.com that the original bill gave Obama the power to turn off the Internet in the case of a cyber-emergency. (Sounds like another potential "crisis" to me.) Of course, as Clinton comments, the bill does not define what a cyber-emergency is.

In an excerpt of the bill obtained by CNET News, the legislation "still appears to permit the president to seize temporary control of private-sector networks during a so-called cybersecurity emergency."

The new version would allow the president to "declare a cybersecurity emergency" relating to "non-governmental" computer networks and do what's necessary to respond to the threat. Other sections of the proposal include a federal certification program for "cybersecurity professionals," and a requirement that certain computer systems and networks in the private sector be managed by people who have been awarded that license.

CNET's translation? -- "If your company is deemed 'critical,' a new set of regulations kick in involving who you can hire, what information you must disclose, and when the government would exercise control over your computers or network."

Here's the kicker... not only would this bill put more private industry under the supervision of the government, but once again, the government is showing that it has no grasp of what actually goes on in private industry.

The Rockefeller proposal plays out against a broader concern in Washington, D.C., about the government's role in cybersecurity. In May, President Obama acknowledged that the government is "not as prepared" as it should be to respond to disruptions and announced that a new cybersecurity coordinator position would be created inside the White House staff. Three months later, that post remains empty, one top cybersecurity aide has quit, and some wags have begun to wonder why a government that receives failing marks on cybersecurity should be trusted to instruct the private sector what to do.

At the risk of stating the obvious, the government should stick to those specific functions outlined by the Constitution and stay out of private industry. Obama and his team continue to seize more control over our private lives, but with each passing day, they also show that they are ill-equipped to handle the situation. The last thing we need is more government control over the Internet and Obama telling cyber-professionals how to do their jobs.

I don't want Obama patrolling my inbox with "professionals" licensed by his administration. Do you?

The "thugocracy", as Fox News' Glenn Beck so aptly dubbed it, that our president's "advisers" are determined to create will not tolerate open communication between their opponents. I consider it more than likely that those of us who have taken steps to stop the power grabs by calling, faxing and/or e-mailing our representatives in Washington are already being monitored on our computers and our telephones. Anyone who considers my remarks to be extreme needs to review the facts for himself. Glenn Beck is one person who does an outstanding job of presenting facts and supporting them with undeniable proof.

More superfluous information

For a late afternoon lunch, I enjoyed lightly steamed asparagus. It was so delicious!! I didn't eat earlier because I was exploring a number of forums at Teardrops and Tiny Travel Trailers. I couldn't tear ("tare") myself away!! I read dozens of posted messages, and submitted my "two cents worth" to a couple of topics. The amount of information is overwhelming!! Everything the Teardrop owner (or wanta be) needs to know!! I also checked the Tearjerkers web site hoping to find campouts. ~~ I subscribed to Tales & Trails.

Superfluous information

Superfluous info: I was stung by a wasp this afternoon. They were building a nest under the eves near my front door. I gave the nest a couple of whacks with a broom handle--and ran. But I didn't run fast enough!! One angry wasp stung me on the top of my head. Yes, it hurts. It is affecting my left eye but I'm confident that I am OK, and will be OK.

This afternoon, a two-man team looked at my Teardrop Trailer repair project. They promised to return next Saturday, at 8 AM, and correct the problem. If all goes well, at this hour seven days from now I will report details and post pictures.

I had been toying with the idea of a short trip to a Fiddler's Convention for the holiday weekend. I rarely travel... but thought I might make an exception. This means I'll be home--and that's OK.

10:00 PM Postscript: Did I say Fiddler's Convention?? Totally unexpected, the music came to me this evening via UNC-TV (Public Broadcasting). I had a "front row" seat (so to speak) at Fiddler's Grove. ~~ Confession: I'm having to acquire an appreciation for "mountain music" and bluegrass. I was raised in California, and Oregon, and never heard it. Now I live in North Carolina and want to "hear" the sounds as well as "see" the sights.

Stone Mountain, Georgia

I **love** to watch UNC-TV (Public Broadcasting) programs regarding scenic interests in North Carolina. Because of them, I visited Grandfather Mountain, and Mount Airy. Last night I learned of Stone Mountain Park, Georgia. As God is my witness, I had **never** heard of the carving on the mountain. We all know about Mount Rushmore but how many know of Stone Mountain?? Wikipedia has all the details!!

I'm not a "Theme Park" person but I am intrigued by the carving, and the museum. I'm more interested in the camping, and hiking. This destination is going on my "to do" travel list. Approximately 209 miles from Shelby.

Marching to a different drummer

Thousands crowded the area outside the Today Show studio, packed Rockafeller Center, and many blocks beyond. Countless millions watched on TV. What was the attraction? Miley Cyrus!! ~~ Personally, I left the apartment before the concert; I went shopping for a few necessities--including organic fruit and veggies. During the 30 mile drive to Gastonia, I listened to Christian music and an inspirational message (on the radio). 'Nuf said?!

No exaggeration: I spent about two hours in Lowe's searching for "just the right" items for a repair on the Little Guy Teardrop trailer. More about the physical repair in a later message. Meanwhile, a caveat: Don't neglect weather stripping and allow water damage!! ~~ I now own a large heavy-duty tarp that I will use to cover Little Guy for the winter. But that doesn't address the problem of our frequent heavy rains--during the summer--when I am "between trips."

Yes, I do "home repairs"--and trailer repairs. However, this project calls for someone with tools and "know how" that I don't have. Two weeks ago a self-proclaimed expert on Teardrops looked at the project and said he would be back the next day. Eight days went by and I didn't hear from him. I called... and he said he'd been sick. He'd be here the next day with everything needed. That was four days ago!! ~~ Several days ago I searched the local phone book, and newspaper ads, for a "handyman." I called three... but only one returned my call.

What happened to honesty and integrity over the last few decades?? Why is a "senior" lady ignored?? I've always given more than was required. I've marched to a different drummer.

Wake Up, America: Forced vaccinations, quarantine camps, health care interrogations and mandatory "decontaminations"

(NaturalNews) The United States of America is devolving into medical fascism and Massachusetts is leading the way with the passage of a new bill, the "Pandemic Response Bill" 2028, reportedly just passed by the MA state Senate and now awaiting approval in the House. This bill suspends virtually all Constitutional rights of Massachusetts citizens and forces anyone "suspected" of being infected to submit to interrogations, "decontaminations" and vaccines.

It's also sets fines up to $1,000 per day for anyone who refuses to submit to quarantines, vaccinations, decontamination efforts or to follow any other verbal order by virtually any state-licensed law enforcement or medical personnel. Here's some of the language contained in the bill:

(Violation of 4th Amendment: Illegal search and seizure)

During either type of declared emergency, a local public health authority... may exercise authority... to require the owner or occupier of premises to permit entry into and investigation of the premises; to close, direct, and compel the evacuation of, or to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated any building or facility; to destroy any material; to restrict or prohibit assemblages of persons;

(Violation of 14th Amendment; illegal arrest without a warrant)

...an officer authorized to serve criminal process may arrest without a warrant any person whom the officer has probable cause to believe has violated an order given to effectuate the purposes of this subsection and shall use reasonable diligence to enforce such order. [Gunpoint]

(Government price controls)

The attorney general, in consultation with the office of consumer affairs and business regulation, and upon the declaration by the governor that a supply emergency exists, shall take appropriate action to ensure that no person shall sell a product or service that is at a price that unreasonably exceeds the price charged before the emergency.

"Involuntary Transportation" (also known as kidnapping)

Law enforcement authorities, upon order of the commissioner or his agent or at the request of a local public health authority pursuant to such order, shall assist emergency medical technicians or other appropriate medical personnel in the involuntary transportation of such person to the tuberculosis treatment center.

$1,000 / day in fines

Any person who knowingly violates an order, as to which noncompliance
poses a serious danger to public health as determined by the commissioner or the local public health authority, shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than 30 days or a fine of not more than one thousand dollars per day that the violation continues, or both.

Forced vaccinations

Furthermore, when the commissioner or a local public health authority within its jurisdiction determines that either or both of the following measures are necessary to prevent a serious danger to the public health the commissioner or local public health authority may exercise the following authority: (1) to vaccinate or provide precautionary prophylaxis to individuals as protection against communicable disease...

Forced quarantine for those who refuse (illegal imprisonment without charge)

An individual who is unable or unwilling to submit to vaccination or treatment shall not be required to submit to such procedures but may be isolated or quarantined pursuant to section 96 of chapter 111 if his or her refusal poses a serious danger to public health or results in uncertainty whether he or she has been exposed to or is infected with a disease or condition that poses a serious danger to public health, as determined by the commissioner, or a local public health authority operating within its jurisdiction.

Arrest for refusal to be "decontaminated"

If an individual is unable or unwilling to submit to decontamination or procedures necessary for diagnosis, the decontamination or diagnosis procedures may proceed only pursuant to an order of the superior court... During the time necessary to obtain such court order, such individual may be isolated or quarantined pursuant to section 96 of chapter 111 if his or her refusal to submit to decontamination or diagnosis procedures poses a serious danger to public health or results in uncertainty whether he or she has been exposed to or is infected with a disease or condition that poses a serious danger to public health.

Interrogation

When the commissioner or a local public health authority within its jurisdiction reasonably believes that a person may have been exposed to a disease or condition that poses a threat to the public health, in addition to their authority under section 96 of chapter 111, the commissioner or the local public health authority may detain the person for as long as may be reasonably necessary for the commissioner or the local public health authority, to convey information to the person regarding the disease or condition and to obtain contact information... If a person detained under subsection (1) refuses to provide the information requested, the person may be isolated or quarantined pursuant to section 96 of chapter 111 if his or her refusal poses a serious danger to public health...

Forced isolation and quarantine

An order for isolation or quarantine may include any individual who is unwilling or unable to undergo vaccination, precautionary prophylaxis, medical treatment, decontamination, medical examinations, tests, or specimen collection and whose refusal of one or more of these measures poses a serious danger to public health or results in uncertainty whether he or she has been exposed to or is infected with a disease or condition that poses a serious danger to public health.

Forced entry into any home or building...

There's a lot more in this bill, including language that allows Mass. police to enter any home or building without a search warrant, to destroy any object or building they suspect may pose a threat to public safety, to order the closing and / or decontamination of any facility using highly toxic chemical decontamination agents, and to arrest, detain and interrogate anyone who gets in their way.

Meanwhile, all state law enforcement and medical personnel are granted complete immunity from prosecution for their part in violating your Constitutional rights. So if they violate your right to due process, or they accidentally destroy your home, or they kill your family dog because they suspect it might be infected, you have absolutely zero recourse.

Under this bill, Massachusetts becomes a medical police state. There is no debating it. It's all written, clear as day, in this law: The citizens of Massachusetts will have no rights, period. The Constitution is ancient history. You are now the property of the State.

Kiss your freedoms goodbye.

Setting the people up to die: A conspiracy of silence about swine flu natural remedies

(NaturalNews) It's emblazoned across the front page of USA Today, just underneath a subhead declaring Michael Jackson was, indeed, killed by a drug overdose: "Flu could infect half of USA." The article goes on to describe the predicted number of deaths expected in the U.S. (30,000 - 90,000 Americans) as well as the actions being taken by the government to protect Americans from the coming swine flu pandemic.

That advice reads sort of like a comic book of health care advice for kindergarteners: Wash your hands, cover your mouth if you cough and let "the grownups" take care of the rest by injecting you with a vaccine. Curiously absent from all the health advice being handed out on the swine flu by the White House, the CDC, the WHO and even the FDA is any mention of Vitamin D or other natural remedies that offer enormous protections from influenza infections.

The absence of this information from virtually all the advice being handed out to the American public is increasingly suspicious. If a pandemic flu is, indeed, threatening to infect half the U.S. population, and if most of the population is deficient in a nutrient known to strongly prevent influenza infections, wouldn't it make good sense to make a few announcements encouraging Americans to raise their vitamin D levels throughout the coming winter?

It is a well-known medical fact, of course, that influenza always gets worse during the winter months North of the equator and the summer months South of the equator (which are really called their "winter" months). This is because as sunlight hours lessen during the winter, the people living there become vitamin D deficient and are susceptible to influenza infections of all kinds.

The information resources backing this are easy to find. Solar radiation triggers robust seasonal vitamin D production in the skin; vitamin D deficiency is common in the winter, and activated vitamin D, 1,25(OH)2D, a steroid hormone, has profound effects on human immunity. 1,25(OH)2D acts as an immune system modulator, preventing excessive expression of inflammatory cytokines and increasing the 'oxidative burst' potential of macrophages. Perhaps most importantly, it dramatically stimulates the expression of potent anti-microbial peptides, which exist in neutrophils, monocytes, natural killer cells, and in epithelial cells lining the respiratory tract where they play a major role in protecting the lung from infection. Downsizing

Finally fell asleep. I'm wide awake and I've had a productive morning. I've loaded a lot of things into the KIA to take to a Thrift Shop. I've been hanging on to the things--for sale at local Flea Markets--but things are not selling. It just doesn't make sense (any more) to load the KIA, and trailer; get up early (after a sleepless night?!); drive to..., set up, endure the heat, tear down, drive home.... The last two times I didn't even sell enough to pay for the space!! ~~ Much more to load--to "downsize"--but that's for another day and another trip. I believe it was Confucius that said "The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step."

In this age of "instant everything" I thought things worked in "real time"--especially the Internet. I couldn't figure out the mechanics of WebRing (why it wouldn't work for me) so I focused on other things this morning. Now (in the heat of the afternoon) I clicked "next" and "previous" on the WebRing logo (at the top of the blog) and it took me to the various subscribers. It's working!! Now I need to make some changes on my blog to accommodate this new feature. I love the challenges of preparing a blog, and maneuvering on the Internet!!!!

It wasn’t until my annual physical examination, and a simple question from the doctor about my family health history, that I found myself thinking, Uh-oh.

Risk for some cancers, in fact, does run in families. Some inherited genes seem to make it easier for healthy cells to mutate into malignancy; others can impair the body’s built-in ability to disable cancer-causing substances before they cause trouble. Inherited risk helps explain why some smokers live until they’re 95 and others, like my mother and her sister, die of lung cancer in their sixties. Someday, genetic tests may be used routinely to assess a person’s risk of specific cancers. But I don’t want to wait for that. I want to do whatever I can to lower my risk. Now.

World-famous health benefits. Genetically modified (GM) foods have been in stores only since the 1990s, so we don't know the long-term health risks, and in a recent study by the Austrian government, GM corn was found to affect fertility in mice.

Mainstream scientists are concerned that GM organisms will reduce biodiversity.

No prominent pesticides. Although farmers can use some naturally occurring pesticides on organic foods, they're way less harmful than the synthetic kind.

A-List tastes. Foodies everywhere agree that the range of possible flavors is greater when we just let Mother Nature do her thing.

Look for the PLU codes on the labels stuck on your fruits and veggies.
A four-digit number means it's conventionally grown.
A five-digit number beginning with 9 means it's organic.
A five-digit number beginning with 8 means it's genetically modified.

Ten Things That Are Missing from Obama's Health Care Reform Debate

(NaturalNews) You can't fix one broken system by replacing it with another broken system. Sure, the current health care system of "that's a pre-existing condition" insurance companies, employer-funded health insurance and miserable Medicaid is a public health disaster, but if we're going to fix the system, we have to come up with something that actually addresses the root cause of disease in America.

The current health care reform debate in Washington is really just a distraction -- a ploy to keep everyone focused on all the wrong topics while quietly refusing to talk about the big issues that threaten the health of an entire nation.

Here are the top 10 things missing from Obama's health care reform plan (and often absent from the debate):

#1) Ending the FDA's suppression of natural cures and safe, effective nutritional supplements.

#2) Initiating a real investment in public education to teach people about how to prevent disease with nutrition.

#3) Ending Big Pharma's monopoly on drug prices and drug patents (not to mention patents on human genes and animals).

#4) Restoring the ability for local doctors to practice local medicine without being controlled from bureaucrats in Washington.

#5) Cracking down on junk food advertising, soda advertising and pharmaceutical ads that convince people to purchase products that will only harm them.

#6) Banning dangerous chemical ingredients that cause diseases in the first place (aspartame, MSG, sodium nitrite, etc.)

#7) A real effort to improve school lunches and serve food that's nutritious instead of food that's cheap and convenient.

#8) Ending bizarre food subsidies on crops like corn that end up making high-fructose corn syrup the cheapest sweetener for manufacturers to use.

#9) Affirming health freedom for parents who wish to opt out of the current system of forced vaccinations and gunpoint-enforced chemotherapy.

#10) Requiring honest food labeling where irradiated and GMO foods are clearly labeled as such.

My Retirement Plan

I found this on Snopes.com today. My Retirement Plan: Sounds good to me!! Only one problem: My retirement "in come" will not support the "out go" of Princess Cruises back-to-back: $135. per day X 30 days = $4,050. ~~ I'll continue to travel on dry land and report (in Little Guy Teardrop Trailer Travels ) that my expenses total less than $45. per day. Besides, I'm not interested in "as many as ten meals a day...if I can waddle to the restaurant."

Lorraine here: I'm so patriotic, I wear red, white & blue frequently--and always on Flag Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. I wear flag jewelry!! Someone was in Lowes the other day and just for the heck of it was looking at the hose attachments. They were all made in China. The next day she was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it she checked the hose attachments there. They were made in USA.

Start looking.

In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else - even their job. So, after reading this email, I think this lady is on the right track.

Let's get behind her!

My grandson likes Hershey's candy. I noticed, though, that it is marked made in Mexico now. I do not buy it any more. My favorite toothpaste Colgate is made in Mexico now. I have switched to Crest. You have to read the labels on everything.

This past weekend I was at Kroger. I needed 60 W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets. I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE brand I normally buy was an off brand labeled, "Everyday Value.." I picked up both types of bulbs and compared the stats - they were the same except for the price. The GE bulbs were more money than the Everyday Value brand but the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO and the Everyday Value brand was made in - get ready for this - the USA in a company in Cleveland, Ohio.

So throw out the myth that you cannot find products you use every day that are made right here.

So on to another aisle - Bounce Dryer Sheets....yep, you guessed it, Bounce cost more money and is made in Canada. The Everyday Value brand was less money and MADE IN THE USA! I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed just like the Bounce Free I have been using for years and at almost half the price!

My challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop for everyday things and see what you can find that is made in the USA - the job you save may be your own or your neighbors!

If you accept the challenge, pass this on to others in your address book so we can all start buying American, one light bulb at a time! Stop buying from overseas companies!

(We should have awakened a decade ago......)

During my recent Little Guy Teardrop Trailer Travels, I missed many e-mail messages from holistic health professionals. I've tried to review some of the messages but it is overwhelming to go back over 500-plus e-mails. (I receive as many as forty per day!) ~~ I'm more attentive to e-mail since returning home--and share several with you. I acknowledge that my travels are more enjoyable reading. However "health care" is **THE** major topic in the media. (Frankly, I wish I was on-the-road rather than reading e-mail but I am "between trips.")

Dr. Charles Krauthammer on Obama--Fact or Fiction?

Lorraine here: I received the following as an e-mail. Rather than forward to those in my e-mail address book, I thought I'd publish on my blog. A Google search revealed a vast amount of information for Dr. Charles Krauthammer.

Dr. Krauthammer is on Fox News. He is an M.D. and he is paralyzed from the neck down. Be forewarned on what is happening. A friend went to hear Charles Krauthammer. He listened with 25 others in closed room. What he says here, is NOT 2nd-hand, but 1st. You would do well to read and pass this along to EVERYBODY that loves his country. This is VERY serious for the direction of our country. The ramifications are staggering for us and our children.

Last Monday was a profound evening, hearing Dr. Charles Krauthammer speak to the Center for the American Experiment. He is brilliant intellectual, seasoned and articulate.. He is forthright and careful in his analysis, and never resorts to emotions or personal insults. He is NOT a fear monger nor an extremist in his comments and views. He is a fiscal conservative, and has a Pulitzer Prize for writing. He is a frequent contributor to Fox News and writes weekly for the Washington Post. The entire room was held spellbound during his talk. I have shared this with many of you and several have asked me to summarize his comments, as we are living in uncharted waters economically and internationally.

Even 2 Dems at my table agreed with everything he said! If you feel like forwarding this to those who are open minded and have not drunk the Kool-Aid, feel free. Summary of his comments:

1. Mr. Obama is a very intellectual, charming individual. He is not to be underestimated. He is a cool customer who doesn't show his emotions. It's very hard to know what's behind the mask. Taking down the Clinton dynasty from a political neophyte was an amazing accomplishment. The Clintons still do not understand what hit them. Obama was in the perfect place at the perfect time.

2. Obama has political skills comparable to Reagan and Clinton. He has a way of making you think he's on your side, agreeing with your position, while doing the opposite. Pay no attention to what he SAYS; rather, watch what he DOES!

3. Obama has a ruthless quest for power. He did not come to Washington to make something out of himself, but rather to change everything, including dismantling capitalism. He can't be straightforward on his ambitions, as the public would not go along. He has a heavy hand, and wants to level the playing field with income redistribution and punishment to the achievers of society. He would like to model the USA to Great Britain or Canada .

4. His three main goals are to control ENERGY, PUBLIC EDUCATION, AND NATIONAL HEALTH CARE by the Federal government. He doesn't care about the auto or financial services industries, but got them as an early bonus. The cap and trade will add costs to everything and stifle growth. Paying for FREE college education is his goal. Most scary is his healthcare program, because if you make it FREE and add 46,000,000 people to a Medicare-type single-payer system, the costs will go through the roof. The only way to control costs is with massive RATIONING of services, like in Canada. God forbid.

5. He has surrounded himself with mostly far-left academic types. No one around him has ever even run a candy store. But they are going to try and run the auto, financial, banking and other industries. This obviously can't work in the long run. Obama is not a socialist; rather he's a far-left secular progressive bent on nothing short of revolution. He ran as a moderate, but will govern from the hard left. Again, watch what he does, not what he says.

6. Obama doesn't really see himself as President of the United States , but more as a ruler over the world. He sees himself above it all, trying to orchestrate and coordinate various countries and their agendas. He sees moral equivalency in all cultures. His apology tour in Germany and England was a prime example of how he sees America, as an imperialist nation that has been arrogant, rather than a great noble nation that has at times made errors. This is the first President ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies!

7. He is now handing out goodies. He hopes that the bill (and pain) will not come due until after he is re-elected in 2012.. He would like to blame all problems on Bush from the past, and hopefully his successor in the future. He has a huge ego, and Mr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.

8.. Republicans are in the wilderness for a while, but will emerge strong. We're pining for another Reagan, but there will never be another like him. Krauthammer believes Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty and Bobby Jindahl (except for his terrible speech in February) are the future of the party. Newt Gingrich is brilliant, but has baggage. Sarah Palin is sincere and intelligent, but needs to really be seriously boning up on facts and info if she is to be a serious candidate in the future. We need to return to the party of lower taxes, smaller government, personal responsibility, strong national defense, and states rights.

9. The current level of spending is irresponsible and outrageous. We are spending trillions that we doen't have. This could lead to hyper-inflation, depression or worse. No country has ever spent themselves into prosperity. The media is giving Obama, Reid and Pelosi a pass because they love their agenda. But eventually the bill will come due and people will realize the huge bail outs didn't work, nor will the stimulus package. These were trillion-dollar payoffs to Obama's allies, unions and the Congress to placate the left, so he can get support for #4 above.

10. The election was over in mid-September when Lehman brothers failed, fear and panic swept in, we had an unpopular President, and the war was grinding on indefinitely without a clear outcome. The people are in pain, and the mantra of change caused people to act emotionally. Any Dem would have won this election; it was surprising it was as close as it was.

11. In 2012, if the unemployment rate is over 10%, Republicans will be swept back into power. If it's under 8%, the Dems continue to roll. If it's between 8-10%, it will be a dogfight.. It will all be about the economy. I hope this gets you really thinking about what's happening in Washington and Congress. There is a left-wing revolution going on, according to Krauthammer, and he encourages us to keep the faith and join the loyal resistance. The work will be hard, but we're right on most issues and can reclaim our country, before it's far too late.

Do yourself a long term favor, send this to all who will listen to an intelligent assessment of the big picture. All our futures and children's futures depend on our good understanding of what is really going on in DC!!!! And our action pursuant to that understanding!!! It really **_IS_** up to each of us to take individual action!!! Start with educating your friends and neighbors!!!

The Swine Flu Virus and Pandemic--Fact or Fiction?

Dear Lorraine,

The purpose of this article is to open your mind to the illusion of the germ theory that imprisons many us and to study the history of how this illusion was created.

One must challenge everything in the modern construct of immunology and what is said to be the immune system. The basis of modern immunology is founded on Louis Pasteur, the fraud, impostor, deceiver and self promoter. There is a serious problem to where every word and part of the anatomy must be questioned to find their use and function because of the fraud of Louis Pasteur.

For example, the word influenza means influence. Originally, influenza was said to come from the stars or heavens. The Avian Influenza is an influenza of a bird influence. More specifically, it is an influence of bird waste. The bird consumption industry in Southeast Asia is overcrowded to the point that the chickens are consuming their own waste, producing an over-acidification of the birds and workers that must work in the acidic air and waste.

It could be more accurately called Acidic Bird or Chicken Excrement Influenza that is only contagious to those consuming acidic birds, like chicken or breathing chemically altered air from chicken excrement. Because chickens do not have a urinary tract system, like humans and animals they are more likely to absorb their own acidic urine into their tissues. I guess you could say that's what makes chicken flesh or turkey flesh taste so juicy and why chicken or turkey flesh should never be consumed by humans!

Here is a second example of Pasteurian scientific dogma. The word virus is originally Latin meaning poison, as in snake venom, (being too acidic). When a serious snake bite releases venom or acid into the skin and soft tissues, the small sweat vessels become so enlarged that red corpuscles can flow into the tiny seat glands, showing red skin patterns and allowing the venom or acids to escape through the skin. Acidity dissolves and enlarges blood vessels for the movement of acidic fluids or gases. Alkalinity constricts and normalizes the blood vessels.

The point being that viruses are molecular liquids or gases (venom) that can be created by chemical imbalances in humans, plants and animals (by malnutrition or toxic acidic food and/or drink consumption), also created in humans, plants and animal glands, sometimes used in defense (snake venom) or emergency (overactive adrenals), also can be crystallized in laboratories, rarely, if ever crystallized in vivo, and foolish to call viruses contagious when viruses are nothing more than acidic liquids or gases from biological transformation or rotting matter. This is also the case with Swine Flu. It is not contagious neither is it a microbe. In fact if it exsists, which I find highly unlikely, it is only the acid or liquid from pig excretment. Eating pork, which is higly aicid is what casues swine flu. Or should we call is Wine Flu. Drinking wine is what causes wine flu. Wine is a toxic acid and is more likely to cause Swine or Wine Flu than some non-exsistant vival protein ma
de up by germ phobic scientists.

In snake bites, lifestyle choices and diets -- it is not the bite or food that kills it is the venom or acid from the bite or food that kills. Ultimately, it is in ones personal choice that gives life or takes life! Life and death is a consequence of choice!

My final example is in defining the truth about antibodies and antigens. Antibodies are chemical clusters or alkaline buffers to a typical acidic condition properly referred to as antigens or enzymes. So called antibodies are released from healthy organ cells, such as the liver, in response to buffer and neutralize the acidity or liquid acid antigen that was first introduced. It must be noted that the word, antibody and antigen, are a Pasteurian dogma construct. The mind set being that an antibody or now even antibiotics, are defending or responding to bodies, microbes or invisible bodies or what I call phantom viruses, like Swine Flu, Avian Flu, SARS Flu, or even HIV -- even though HIV is not a virus but an alkaline antibody to buffer acid or antigens. The chemical response is actually due to an introduction, vector or antigen of a chemical nature, typically acidic, not a body, microbe or bacteria or yeast.

If bacteria, yeast, fungus or mold are transferred into another individual it must be made in a balanced liquid medium to support that fragile microbe or insignificant entity in order to survive. The main point here is that bacteria, yeast, fungus or mold do not cause sickness and disease (including cancer) as theorized by Pasteur and most recently suggested by Dr. Simoncini, an oncologist from Rome, Italy --- sickness and disease (including cancer and HIV) is a result of excess acidity or antigens that have not been properly buffered by antibodies or bases such as sodium bicarbonate. These fragile microforms or microbes are the expression of cellular transformation from once healthy human, plant or animal cells due to an over acidic environment. Sickness and disease can only be caused by an over acidification (abundance of antigens) of the fluids of the body due to our own personal lifestyle and dietary choices.

As you contemplate the cause of the Swine flu, cold or any so-called infection, may I suggest that each of us take personal responsibility for the consequences of our choices, rather than blame a phantom Swine or Avian Influenza virus, cold virus, flu virus, cancer virus or some non-existent HIV virus. If you get sick, it is your own fault and not the cause of some phantom virus that you can blame to cover your own lifestyle and dietary transgressions.

Save your money and save your life by making alkalizing and energizing lifestyle and dietary choices. This is where true immunity is found -- not in a toxic green monkey live acidic vival vaccine or a drug which are all acidic and poisonous to the body but in living an alkaline lifestyle.

I love the words of Hippocrates when he said, 'Let your medicine be your food and your food be your medicine.'

In closing, I quote Abraham Lincoln who said ' . . . but you can't fool all the people, all of the time.'

We need to tell our Goverment we do not want "Health Care" we want "Self Care." We need to empower every person on the planet with education NOT medication. The education that will save life and change live. The education that YOU are alkaline by design and acidic by fucntion and that true health is achieved by maintaining the alkaline designe of the body.

Is it now time that we wake up from the fraud and deception of Louis Pasteur's medical science and break the chains that can prevent us from incredible outstanding good health, energy and a long a prosperous life free from all sickness and disease? Is it now time for us to be truly free in all ways -- physically, emotionally and spiritually?

I believe with all my heart that the answers to all questions can be found and realized in understanding and choosing truth, light and life over deception, darkness and death. For the truth can and will always set us free, in all ways!"

Swine Flu Vaccine Kills

Dear Lorraine,

The acidic poisonous Swine flu vaccine has been linked to a killer nerve disease. A leaked letter reveals concern of neurologists over 25 deaths in America.

A warning that the new swine flu vaccine is linked to a deadly nerve disease has been sent by the Government to senior neurologists in a confidential letter.

The letter from the Health Protection Agency, the official body that oversees public health, has been leaked to The Mail on Sunday, leading to demands to know why the information has not been given to the public before the vaccination of millions of people, including children, begins.

It tells the neurologists that they must be alert for an increase in a brain disorder called Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), which could be triggered by the Swine Flu vaccine.

"GBS is an acidic condition that ferments the lining of the nerves, causing paralysis and inability to breathe, and can be fatal." states Dr. Robert O. Young, Director of Research at the pH Miracle Living Center, in San Diego, California.

The letter, sent to about 600 neurologists on July 29, is the first sign that there is concern at the highest levels that the vaccine itself could cause serious complications.

It refers to the use of a similar swine flu vaccine in the United States in 1976 when:

* More people died from the vaccination than from swine flu.
* 500 cases of GBS were detected.
* The vaccine may have increased the risk of contracting GBS by eight times.
* The vaccine was withdrawn after just ten weeks when the link with GBS became clear.
* The US Government was forced to pay out millions of dollars to those affected.

Concerns have already been raised that the new vaccine has not been sufficiently tested and that the effects, especially on children, are unknown.

It is being developed by pharmaceutical companies and will be given to about 13 million people during the first wave of immunization, expected to start in October.

Top priority will be given to everyone aged six months to 65 with an underlying health problem, pregnant women and health professionals.

The British Neurological Surveillance Unit (BNSU), part of the British Association of Neurologists, has been asked to monitor closely any cases of GBS as the vaccine is rolled out.

One senior neurologist said last night: 'I would not have the swine flu vaccome because of the GBS risk.'

"I am concerned that there could be a repeat of what became known as the '1976 debacle' in the US, where the swine flu vaccine killed 25 people - more than the virus itself," stated Dr. Young.

A mass vaccination was given the go-ahead by President Gerald Ford because scientists believed that the swine flu strain was similar to the one responsible for the 1918-19 pandemic, which killed half a million Americans and 20 million people worldwide.

Within days, the acidic symptoms of GBS were reported among those who had been immunized and 25 people died from respiratory failure after severe paralysis. One in 80,000 people expressed this acidic condition. In contrast, just one person died of the so-called swine flu.

More than 40 million Americans had received the vaccine by the time the programm was stopped after ten weeks. The US Government paid out millions of dollars in compensation to those affected.

The so-called swine flu virus in the new vaccine is a slightly different strain from the 1976 virus, but the possibility of an increased incidence of GBS remains a concern.

Shadow health spokesman Mike Penning said last night: 'The last thing we want is secret letters handed around experts within the NHS. We need a vaccine but we also need to know about potential risks.

'Our job is to make sure that the public knows what's going on.
Why is the Government not being open about this? It's also very worrying if GPs, who will be administering the vaccine, aren't being warned.'

Two letters were posted together to neurologists advising them of the concerns. The first, dated July 29, was written by Professor Elizabeth Miller, head of the HPA's Immunization Department.

It says: 'The vaccines used to combat an expected swine influenza pandemic in 1976 were shown to be associated with GBS and were withdrawn from use.

'GBS has been identified as a condition needing enhanced surveillance when the swine flu vaccines are rolled out.

'Reporting every case of GBS irrespective of vaccination or disease history is essential for conducting robust epidemiological analysis capable of identifying whether there is an increased risk of GBS in defined time periods after vaccination, or after influenza itself, compared with the background risk.'

The second letter, dated July 27, is from the Association of British Neurologists and is written by Dr Rustam Al-Shahi Salman, chair of its surveillance unit, and Professor Patrick Chinnery, chair of its clinical research committee.

It says: 'Traditionally, the BNSU has monitored rare diseases for long periods of time. However, the swine influenza (H1N1) pandemic has overtaken us and we need every member's involvement with a new BNSU survey of Guillain-Barre Syndrome that will start on August 1 and run for approximately nine months.

'Following the 1976 program of vaccination against swine influenza in the US, a retrospective study found a possible eight-fold increase in the incidence of GBS.

'Active prospective ascertainment of every case of GBS in the UK is required. Please tell BNSU about every case.

'You will have seen Press coverage describing the Government's concern about releasing a vaccine of unknown safety.'

If there are signs of a rise in GBS after the vaccination program begins, the Government could decide to halt it.

"GBS is an acidic condition brought on from acidic vaccines that destroys the lining of the nerves, leaving them unable to transmit signals to muscles effectively," states Dr. Young.

It can cause partial paralysis and mostly affects the hands and feet. In serious cases, patients need to be kept on a ventilator, but it can be fatal.

"Death is caused by acids that lead to paralysis of the respiratory system, causing the victim to suffocate," states Dr. Young.

The HPA said it was part of the Government's pandemic plan to monitor GBS cases in the event of a mass vaccination campaign, regardless of the strain of flu involved. But vaccine experts warned that the letters proved the program was a 'guinea-pig trial'.

Dr Tom Jefferson, co-ordinator of the vaccines section of the influential Cochrane Collaboration, an independent group that reviews research, said: 'New vaccines never behave in the way you expect them to. It may be that there is a link to GBS, which is certainly not something I would wish on anybody.

'But it could end up being anything because one of the additives in one of the vaccines is a substance called squalene, and none of the studies we've extracted have any research on it at all.'

He said squalene, a naturally occurring enzyme, could potentially cause so-far-undiscovered side effects.

Jackie Fletcher, founder of vaccine support group Jabs, said: 'The Government would not be anticipating this if they didn't think there was a connection. What we've got is a massive guinea-pig trial.'

Professor Chinnery said: 'During the last swine flu pandemic, it was observed that there was an increased frequency of cases of GBS. No one knows whether it was the virus or the vaccine that caused this.

'The purpose of the survey is for us to assess rapidly whether there is an increase in the frequency of GBS when the vaccine is released in the UK. It also increases consultants' awareness of the condition.

"Is the emotional acidic Panic over? The number of swine flu cases has fallen sharply in the past week," states Dr. Young.

"I COULDN''T EAT OR SPEAK... IT WAS HORRENDOUS," said
Hilary Wilkinson, a victim of the Swine Flu vaccine.

When Hilary Wilkinson woke up with muscle weakness in her left arm and difficulty breathing, doctors initially put it down to a stroke.

But within hours, she was on a ventilator in intensive care after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

She spent three months in hospital and had to learn how to talk and walk again. But at times, when she was being fed through a drip and needed a tracheotomy just to breathe, she doubted whether she would survive.

The mother of two, 57, from Maryport, Cumbria, had been in good health until she developed a chest infection in March 2006. She gradually became so weak she could not walk downstairs.

Doctors did not diagnose Guillain-Barre until her condition worsened in hospital and tests showed her reflexes slowing down. It is impossible for doctors to know how she contracted the disorder, although it is thought to be linked to some infections.

Mrs Wilkinson said: 'It was very scary. I couldn't eat and I couldn't speak. My arms and feet had no strength and breathing was hard.

I was treated with immunoglobulin, which are proteins found in blood, to stop damage to my nerves. After ten days, I still couldn't speak and had to mime to nurses or my family.

'It was absolutely horrendous and I had no idea whether I would get through it. You reach very dark moments at such times and wonder how long it can last.

But I'm a very determined person and I had lots of support.'

After three weeks, she was transferred to a neurological ward, where she had an MRI scan and nerve tests to assess the extent of the damage.

Still unable to speak and in a wheelchair, Mrs Wilkinson eventually began grueling physiotherapy to improve her muscle strength and movement but it was exhausting and painful.

Three years later, she is almost fully recovered. She can now walk for several miles at a time, has been abroad and carries out voluntary work for a GBS Support Group helpline.

She said: 'It makes me feel wary that the Government is rolling out this vaccine without any clear idea of the GBS risk, if any. I wouldn't wish it on anyone and it certainly changed my life.

'I'm frightened to have the swine flu vaccine if this might happen again - it's a frightening illness and I think more research needs to be done on the effect of the vaccine.'

According to Dr. Young, "the flu is the body's way of removing excess environmental, metabolic and/or dietary acid out through the four channels of elimination - the bowels, the urinary system, the skin and the lungs. The most important fact to understand are the symptoms of the flu are not the disease but the body's attempt to re-establish the alkaline design of the body. This is where true immunity is found - in alkalinity - not in poisoning the body with an acidic vaccine. To prevent or reverse the symptoms of the so-called swine flu one must simply alkalize the body with alkaline water, food and supplements. An alkaline lifestyle and diet will buffer and eliminate the acidic waste products responsible for causing the flu-like symptoms. The beauty of this approach is the side-effects are good health."
