Don't wanna give up meat altogether?

Copied from Ideal Bite

Try for a happy medium - go meatless at least once a week for ginormous environmental and health benefits, without compromising your taste for the occasional sustainably raised burger.

The Benefits
More-than-middling health payoffs. Compared to meat eaters, vegetarians have lower rates of diabetes, heart disease, certain cancers, and obesity. Coming together for the planet. Livestock accounts for 18% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions and 8% of water use - and a meatless diet is 50% more effective at cutting CO2 than switching from a standard car to a hybrid.

Wanna Try?
Try cutting out meat one day a week. Meat substitutes and eco-focused cookbooks make it easier. 101 Reasons Why I'm a Vegetarian - facts to help you stick with it ($3).

For me [Lorraine] the long range health benefits of a vegan diet far outdistance the short-lived pleasure of meat with my meal. In My Humble Opinion!! If, perchance, I may be deficient in some nutrients (and I question that arguement) I take a nutritional supplement called Max N-Fuze.
