I've been "journaling" for decades; I've written numerous articles; I've self-published two books. Writing a blog will be new to me. I'm always eager for a new learning experience.
My e-mail address:
For some strange reason the e-mail link at the bottom of each "blog" does not work. Consequently, I encourage you to write down & e-mail me at LorraineEEdwards@gmail.com.
Since mid-November 2010 I have been a volunteer with Wycliffe Associates (WA) in Orlando, FL. WA is a valuable support team for Wycliffe Bible Translators. I'm able to donate computer skills, phone-call techniques, and clerical expertise to this Christian organization. I'm richly blessed by this opportunity to serve God at Wycliffe.

Unexpected blessings came my way in the late afternoon. I decided to phone a couple that I met at "Singing on the Mountain" at Grandfather Mountainon 6/28/09. "Hi Linda, this is Lorraine. We met at Grandfather Mountain." She interrupted me with "Where are you??" "I'm in Marion, at the 'Singing.'" They, too, were at the pavilion and she waved and drew attention to where they were sitting. (I had walked to Little Guy to find the phone number.) Imagine this: They were across the aisle, one row back, from my lawn chair. Only moments earlier I had been talking to the folks seated nearby (because it was still an hour until the concert). Linda had noticed me because she thought I might loose the colorful wristband identifying that I had paid for all five.... We shared details regarding our activities during the evening--between inspirational artists.
