Arrived at Shenandoah Valley Campground, near Verona, Virginia, at 12:27 PM, Friday, July 10th. I was joining other campers who own Teardrop trailers. Eventually there were nine... and no two trailers were alike. It's always so interesting to see how they look and how they are decorated. One unit is a rebuilt 1947 (and I failed to take a picture). Too few pictures, shame on me!!
It was an overcast day but no rain. It rained HARD the night before (at this campground but not in Buena Vista seventy miles away) and roads were muddy and big puddles!! (I had planned to stop in Staunton, or Verona, to wash the car and trailer but I didn't want to get wet with temperature at 66 to 69 degrees!! Both got very muddy so I was glad I didn't stop.)
